The race begins at 8:30 am at Riverside Boulevard on the boardwalk. It will be held rain or shine. All registered runners will receive free admission to the beach and a commemorative t-shirt.
Awards will be presented in several categories. For an application or for more information call 431-3890. The event is being sponsored by The Long Beach Lions Club.
The event was described as flawless thanks to the efforts of the Long Beach Auxiliary Police. Our strong showing and the cooperative efforts of the Long Beach Special Police kept the runners safe on the course and freed up the Auxiliary Bicycle Patrol to really shine on the course.
