The “March for a King” started at 12:30PM at Laurelton Boulevard and Park Avenue. The march headed East on Park Avenue to Riverside Boulevard and then North to the MLK Center on Riverside Boulevard where there was a celebration honoring Dr. King.
Due to traffic control needs, the Auxiliary Police assisted with this event. The LBAPD provided both traffic and pedestrian control assuring that the March was safely conducted.
