Commissioner
Joshua Sundquist
Joshua Sundquist has been
a member of the LBAPD since 1995. He has lived in the Long
Beach area for most of his life. Joshua has worked in the
Information Technology industry for over 14 years and is
currently Assistant Vice President at a Fortune 25 financial
company on Wall Street, where he has worked for over 10
years.
Joshua
originally joined the LBAPD while considering a career in
law enforcement. He came to love the community and enjoyed
the volunteer work in the LBAPD and continued on after
pursuing his career in the private sector.
Lieutenant George
Geller
George Geller
has been a member of the LBAPD since 1975. George is a life
long resident of Long Beach and was born in Long Beach
Hospital. George has been a Special Police Officer with the
Long Beach Police for over forty years. George is also a
certified EMT and a licensed locksmith. He holds the rank of
captain in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol),
where he is an aerospace education officer.
Sergeant Ed Oliva
Joining the
unit in September of 2002, Sgt. Ed Oliva brings a wealth of
management skills to assist the department and the City of
Long Beach. Oliva spent many years in the front office of
the New York Knicks (1988-2002) handling a wide variety of
operational issues for the organization and currently
works as director of operations for SCP Worldwide, a sports
media and entertainment company, based in Manhattan, which
owns the St. Louis Blues of the NHL, Real Salt Lake of Major
League Soccer, US marketing rights for Real Madrid,
Broadway's smash holiday hit 'The Grinch', plus many other
sports and entertainment properties.
