How You
Can Help The Long Beach Auxiliary Police
Last year, the members of the LBAPD volunteered over 7,500
hours of their time to help keep Long Beach a Safe and
Secure community. Considering the city's current budget
problems, we saved the city and its tax payers over $250,000
last year (and that's a conservative estimate).
Who knows how many
crimes our presence prevented?
The LBAPD has saved
the residents of Long Beach a lot of money, prevented many
crimes and has saved lives.
We are constantly
training and improving ourselves to meet the challenges of a
changing world. With scientists saying it is only a matter
of time before we're hit with a serious hurricane, we've
been training and preparing to meet the challenges of
evacuating the city. We're also preparing to stay behind
after the disaster to secure the town from looting and
vandalism. We are also constantly training for terrorism and
large scale emergencies.
The Long Beach Auxiliary Police is
there for you now and will help you whenever the need
arises.
Can you help us?
We understand that not
everyone has the time, physical capacity or ability to join
us patrolling the city. However, everyone has the desire to
see their city kept safe and secure. Everyone has the desire
to know that they will have people helping them in an
emergency and that there will be someone that stays behind
to look after their homes.
Please help us by
giving a financial contribution that will help us be better prepared to help
you!
Please send your gift
of $25, $50, $100 or whatever you are able. Be assured that
%100 of your gift goes directly to the LBAPD. We do not hire
expensive direct marketing companies. We are thankful for your generosity and help.
THANK YOU!
