Thank you for the strong turnout of both uniformed and probationary officers.

A lot of important information was conveyed and the upcoming events were discussed.

We had the honor of recognizing two of our officers whose diligent observations, textbook response and effective communication with the Long Beach Police Department regarding suspicious activities led to a successful arrest.  Both officers received Meritorious Conduct awards concurrently recommended by the officers of the Long Beach Police Department and the officers of the Long Beach Auxiliary Police.

Three Long Beach Auxiliary Police officers will be among the latest graduating class of the Nassau County Auxiliary Police Academy.  This intensive and impressive training spans 26 weeks and offers phenominal resources, experience and training.  Long Beach Auxiliary Police will be attending as a unit to both congratulate our members and meet and chat with our brethren in the County. Family and friends of the graduates are always welcome to attend.  The ceremony will be followed by a stop at a restaurant for a celebratory meal.

We are all immensely proud of our graduates who now join the ranks of many other LBAPD officers who committed themselves to these six months of training and to our community-at-large.  A job well done and an amazing representation of and testament to the high standards that the Long Beach Auxiliary Police Department has maintained for over 50 years!

We generally have a good time making our cars and building shine.

We had a lively team who detailed all of the vehicles-  from Lieutenant to Sergeants, to Patrol Officers to even a 5 year old family member!  The team made for a quick and thorough event which was followed by an enjoyable Pizza lunch!

Weather allowing, we will continue to do vehicle detailing the third Sunday of each month at noon!
