The Wounded Warrior Project will be marching through the West End of Long Beach.

The mission of the Long Beach Waterfront Warriors is to honor those who have fearlessly served in our military to defend our freedom.

The Long Beach Waterfront Warriors is a project in cooperation with the Wounded Warrior Project and the City of Long Beach.

The Auxiliary Police will be there to show support and to aid in traffic and pedestrian flow.

Muster will be at 1:15 PM at Auxiliary Police HQ.  Further details are posted on the duty board. This will also be a bike patrol event!

Historical Society Arts & Crafts Festival - August 22 & 23, 2009

tentsSuch a great event that Long Beach has two Arts & Crafts Fairs every summer!

Over two hundred vendors of eclectic crafts, art and food lined both sides of the Boardwalk centered at Riverside Boulevard.  The Fair was held from 9:00am to 7:00pm on both days.  It is historically one of the most successful events on the boardwalk- not only for the community but also for the Long Beach Auxiliary Police.

We had a nice turnout considering the variable weather reports and Hurricane Bill causing some havok to the beach.  The booth was operated by volunteers and supporters consisting of Auxiliary Police, family and friends.  All of the proceeds will go to help support the operations of the Long Beach Auxiliary Police.
